PUBLICITY  FOR AMAC'S "FIND THE LADY"

Sole performing rights throughout the world for "FIND THE LADY" owned by FAUST the MAGICIAN since 1960.  This DVD shows the complete history of "Find the Lady" since Amac invented it around 1920.  Amac became  a headline attraction in The U.S.A.for many years featuring just this one illusion.

In 1941 Amac sold the illusion to The Great Lyle when Lyle was due to open at the Aldwych theatre in London with his "Cavalcade of Mystery" show, and  in addition Amac was engaged by Lyle to be his stage manager.

Granville Taylor worked as a stage assistant with Lyle in 1953, and he turned professiional magician in l957 with his "Devil's Bar" act, assisted by his wife Valerie, and were soon playing the Moss Empire circuit.

After The Great Lyle died in 1955 Granville contacted Lucille Lyle and began buying tricks and illusions from the Lyle show, and in 1960 he bought Amac's original equipment for "Find the Lady", plus sole performing rights for the U.K. and throughout the world for this illusion.

FAUST THE MAGICIAN

A LIFE OF MAGIC ON FILM TRANSFERRED TO DVDs.

  TOURING THE WORLD.

FAUST took his Super-8 Cine Camera on his many tours abroad.

Often he took footage himself to record the places he visited.

Sometimes, if one of his assistants was ill, and out of the show for a few days and resting, he would hand over his Cine Camera for the assistant to go out into the audience to film parts of the show at random.

"FAUST AS ABANAZAR" and "FAUST IN CABARET"

have both been edited by Faust to show only his magic.

The remaining DVDs, shown above, show raw footage exactly as filmed.

In addition, Faust's presentation of Amac's "Find the Lady" illusion, for which he owns sole performing rights throughout the world, was filmed at the Pendle Hippodrome theatre in Colne in Lancashire when the theatre was hired from April 11th. to 15th. 2011 by the London film production company Spicer & Moore for a documentary.  At the same time, theatre cameraman John Morgan also filmed "Find the Lady", and he presented Faust with a DVD of his filming of this world-famous illusion act shortly afterwards.
